Lots of restaurants, which is typical of most college towns. People were very friendly, and I noticed drivers handed money to people down on their luck which gave me a great impression of the city. One and only thing we didn't like was the strange system for making left turns! (go past the place you want to turn left about 30 yards then make a u turn and go left?
