Iowa has four distinct seasons. In the spring and fall, the weather is typically mild. Summers are warm, and winters are frigid. In the summer, the average temperature ranges from 60 to 83 degrees. During the winter, the average weather ranges from 13 to 34 degrees. Although you will see the most precipitation in the summer, it's also when there is the most to do.
During the summer, you can rent jet skis, a pontoon boat, or a paddle board and use them to explore the Mississippi. In the winter, if you want to brave the cold and leave your hotel, there are some fun festivals like the Ice Extravaganza, Winter Carnival, and Outdoor Adventure Show. You will find the best rates on hotels during the winter, while you should expect to pay a little more during the summer. The Quad Cities hosts many conventions, so be careful of your timing to avoid paying a premium on hotels during that time.

Property is clean and tidy.
We were very surprised and pleased with all that Bettendorf (and the Quad Cities area) had to offer! We were there to attend the golf tournament (John Deere Classic) but found that area to have a lot of fun things to do. We especially liked the water taxis. We never had a bad meal - we found some great restaurants that we will definitely want to visit again
