Whether you're traveling to Marrakech to enjoy the weather, or you want to explore the city, finding the right hotel is important. From luxurious accommodations to budget-friendly hotels, Marrakech has a variety of options perfect for every traveler.
When to Visit Marrakech, Morocco
Spring is the best time to visit Marrakech. From March to May, the valleys come alive with vibrant flowers, sunshine is common, and the average daytime highs in the mid to upper 80s Fahrenheit make it comfortable to explore the area. Keep in mind that Easter week is a popular time for visitors to travel to Marrakech, so hotel prices are higher.
Summer in Marrakech brings plenty of heat. The months between June and September see average daytime highs in the upper 90s, and it's not uncommon to see temperatures over 100 degrees. Even with the stifling warmth, visitors crowd Marrakech's streets. If you're looking for a hotel deal, these are not the months to visit. If you do plan your trip this time of year, stay in the shade in the afternoon and make sure you drink plenty of water.
If you're looking for a good hotel deal in Marrakech, think about planning your trip in October or November. As the summer crowds fade away, hotels drop rates. Plus you can enjoy more comfortable weather. These months see relief from the sweltering summer temperatures, with daytime highs in the 70s.
While the months from December through February see a spike in visitors looking for warmer temperatures, that doesn't mean Marrakech is immune to colder weather. Daytime highs average in the 60s and 70s, but chilly winds knock nighttime lows into the 40s and 30s. Even with the cooler temperatures, the influx of visitors mean hotels charge top rates during these months.
