If you want the best deal possible on your hotel room, visit West Springfield in the winter. Just make sure you pack warm clothing. Average highs from December to February rarely get out of the 30s, and the occasional nor'easter storm can drop several inches of snow on the city. Since these conditions aren't favorable to tourism, hotels will drastically drop prices during this season.

While average highs in March are in the upper 40s, they've reached the lower 70s by May. Plus, since summer crowds haven't come back yet, you can still find some nice deals on hotel rooms.
