I specifically came through Susanville as I wanted to ride the Bizz Johnson Rail Trail and it set me up for the next leg of my journey towards Lassen.
My son lives here and it's my home town.
I lived in Susanville for several years. I enjoy the casino and the restaurant. In nicer weather, I enjoy walking the Bizz Johnson Trail and exploring the beautiful outdoors.

Was just an overnite stay. I know Susanville well though. They have a great pizza/sub place called the Tap Room on Johnsonville Rd. and a pretty good Chinese place. The hotel is close to Safeway, Walmart, Subway, and Jack in the Box among others. Eagle Lake known for good fishing is nearby.
Susanville is a compact town in a beautiful environment.
