With almost year-round pleasant weather, it's hard to find a bad time to visit Seal Beach. However, if you're looking for the warmest temperatures of the year, your best time to visit is during the summer. From June to August, Seal Beach has average high temperatures in the upper 70s and mid-80s Fahrenheit. Since the weather is warm, summer is also the most popular time to visit the area. While you'll have to deal with high hotel rates and crowds at the popular attractions, you'll also be able to enjoy all the outdoor activities and festivals.
Fall in Seal Beach doesn't bring much change in the weather. September has average highs in the low 80s, and October has highs in the upper 70s. By November, the highs are in the low 70s. If you're interested in enjoying mild weather and getting a deal on a hotel room, fall may be the best season for your visit.
With average highs in the upper 60s from December to February, Seal Beach doesn't get any snow during winter. However, these months are the rainiest of the year, so they're not as popular with visitors, which is good news for you if you're interested in a great hotel deal. If you decide to plan a trip during winter to take advantage of the discounts, and rain is forecasted during your visit, pack a raincoat and enjoy the various indoor attractions around the city.
The rainy season lasts through March in Seal Beach, which means average highs will hover in the upper 60s during this month. By April, the rain moves out, and the temperatures start to rise. Keep in mind that prices will slowly start climbing in April, and by the end of May, you'll see summer prices once more.

The small town beach feel along with the pier walk is our draw. Walts Warf and Athens West restaurant are our go-to fancy food places. We always get something at the Shell Shop and pastry bakery. We'll keep coming back!
Great - very pleased!
I grew up in Seal Beach and the staff here are so friendly and welcoming.
The beach and restaurants!
We loved roaming the neighborhood with all the beautiful homes, trees and flowers lining the streets. There is a nice green area to walk through behind the Pacific Inn. The beach was beautiful and well groomed with a pier and park for the kids. Restrooms are located under the pier. Would be a neat place to live.
