I have been traveling to McMinnville for 39 years (all the family came from there), and it has really come into it's own - great shopping downtown, a LOT of new boutique restaurants, great attractions nearby (Cumberland Caverns, Fall Creek Falls State Park, and Rock Island State Park), and the people there are so warm and friendly!
Actually, I grew up in McMinnville or the outskirts like campaign The Rock Island beautiful scenery go up on Harrison ferry Mountain and look off the lookout beautiful people are nice. A lot of my family live there and if you go into McMinnville, I hope you enjoy your stay.
The wedding venue that we attended, the Monroe at 415, was absolutely lovely. The staff was wonderful, and I cannot wait to see the pictures the bride posts because it was a gorgeous piece of property nestled back and away from everything. Besides getting coffee as we left the following morning we did not experience much else in Mcminnville, but it seemed like a nice area.
