Because the state of Kentucky usually has mild weather, there is no time of the year you should plan to avoid Hebron. If you don't like rain, October has something else favorable to offer — it's usually the driest month.
If you're planning to visit during the first two months of the year and want to check out some tourist attractions in the surrounding areas, it's a good idea to call ahead and verify that they are operating normally. Because January and February are not major months for tourism, some points of interest operate on limited schedules. However, they are also times of the year when you may get a fantastic deal on a hotel room because there are fewer visitors.
July and August are usually the warmest months, with average temperatures in the mid to upper 80s. When considering going to visit Hebron during either July or August, be aware that it's a good idea to book your hotel room early.
People who are coming to Hebron and the surrounding areas to do things outdoors appreciate the warmer temperatures and will likely have the same idea you did about their preferred time to visit. Plus, with most kids out of school during those two months, many families plan their annual vacations during this time frame.
