I just liked the location of Ogallala, as I turn north there to go on up to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Monument and The Museum of the Fur Trade in Chadburn, NE.
Did not spend time in the city, just passing through but everyone we had contact with from workers at gas station and restaurant were super friendly; local patrons at the Mexican restaurant were very friendly and informative about the area!
