The Poulsbo center is about 1 mile northeast of Downtown Poulsbo and 9 miles northwest of Downtown Bainbridge Island.
The best time to visit Poulsbo is between May and October. May has a crisp average temperature of 55 degrees where October can range anywhere from 36 to 84 degrees. Poulsbo is an ideal jumping-off point to other places in Kitsap County but the city itself is known for its history and outdoor recreation. However, since spring to summer and early fall are the best times to visit the city, these are also the hardest times to get good deals on hotel rooms. Rates may be higher during these months, and hotel reservations tend to fill quickly so it is a good idea to make reservations early if you want to visit. Alternatively, if you want a good deal on a hotel room you could plan your visit to Poulsbo before the peak tourist seasons in spring through autumn. After the summer, tourist business tends to drop, and so do hotel rates.

My all time favorite place is the marina boardwalk! Quaint shops in and around Front St. People are friendly in passing. Nice small museums. Check out the Historical Museum and the Maritime Museum.

Charming, cool place. Produce and seafood really good. Waterfront is sort of a larger scaled version of Bearskin Neck in Rockport, MA. Fun place for all ages:)
