Seasonality of Hialeah, FL
Hialeah has hot summers and relatively cool summers. During July and August, you can expect temperatures to reach 90 degrees Fahrenheit. During January, the coldest month, you can expect highs in the mid-70s and lows in the upper-50s.
A lot of people visit Hialeah during winter because they want to escape cold temperatures and snow in other parts of the country. A 75-degree day might seem chilly to Hialeah residents, but it's a wonderful reprieve for people who live in northern states.
As more people come to Hialeah during winter, prices rise slightly. The most expensive rates usually occur between December and March. Since there are more visitors coming to the area, hotels can charge higher prices. If you want to visit the Miami area without spending much money, consider reserving a room during the summer. Given how close they are to Hialeah, you should consider staying at one of these luxury hotels while visiting the area. They cost more than other hotels, but you'll get unparalleled services and accommodations.
Eb Hotel in Miami Springs is one of the nicest places to stay in Dade County. There are luxury hotels right on the beach that have a hard time competing with Eb Hotel. Not surprisingly, you get amenities like free Wi-Fi, a 24-hour fitness center, and a 24-hour business center. The hotel also has a restaurant, poolside bar, and concierge services.
Eb Hotel's beauty is what really makes it special. The 133-room hotel was built in 2013, so it has a modern style that most travelers find impressive. Many of the rooms offer panoramic views of the surrounding city. The bathrooms look like the type of luxurious facilities you would find on a yacht, and each room has an LED television built into the wall. It's the kind of place you hate leaving.
Other great things about staying at Eb Hotel include a free shuttle to and from the airport, its proximity to the Hialeah Race Track, and affordable parking. You won't find a nicer, more convenient place to stay near Hialeah.
Hyatt Place on Northwest Le Jeune Road isn't nearly as luxurious as Eb Hotel, but it's still one of the nicest places to stay in the Hialeah area. The 135-room hotel was built in 2015, so you get to enjoy a new building filled with modern conveniences.
Some of the amenities you get at Hyatt Place include free Wi-Fi, free breakfast, and access to an outdoor pool. Lower Cost Options in Hialeah, FL
3 Star Average Prices: £116.85
The Hialeah area has a lot of affordable hotels and motels. Lower cost options tend to lack extra amenities, though. By focusing on basic services, hotels can keep their rates more affordable for travelers. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable place that doesn't offer many extras, there are a few hotels that can help you save money while you're in the Miami area.
The Ramada Miami Airport North is about 3 miles from the center of Hialeah. Considering the hotel's low rates and good reviews, though, you should consider driving the extra miles. The Ramada also has a fitness facility, bar, 1,064-square foot conference space, and an outdoor pool. Another option, the Parkway Inn Airport Motel, was built in 1957. It's an older building that doesn't have a lot of the modern conveniences you can expect from new hotels. It does, however, have free Wi-Fi and a small business center where you can check your email, send faxes, and print documents. Parkway Inn's most surprising feature is an indoor tennis court. Three of the Best Restaurants in Hialeah, FL
When you want to taste authentic Cuban food without leaving the U.S., you have to visit Hialeah. Its high concentration of Cuban residents has inspired a robust culinary scene. Try to visit these three restaurants to make sure you taste the best food in town.
First up is Molina's Ranch Restaurant at 4090 East Eighth Avenue. The difficulty of choosing what to eat is the only bad thing about going to Molina's Ranch Restaurant. The eatery features plenty of Cuban staples, including boliche, a Cuban-style beef dish; moros (rice and beans); ropa vieja (shredded beef); and rueda de semucho (fried kingfish). Molina's is open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., so you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner there.
The second restaurant on the list, La Fresa Francesca at 59 West Third Street, melds French and Cuban foods to create uniquely delightful dishes. The house specialty, Un Cubano in Paris, brings new life to the classic Cuban sandwich by soaking the pork shoulder in milk and braising it in white wine.
The concept seems less strange after you meet the owners. Sandy Sanchez, a native of Hialeah, met her partner, Benoit Rablat, while living in Los Angeles. When they returned to Hialeah, they decided to open a one-of-a-kind French bistro that drew a lot of influence from the neighborhood and Sanchez's love of Cuban cooking.
La Fresa Francesca is open for lunch from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day except Monday, when it is closed. The restaurant serves dinner from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.
A third option is El Rinconcito de Santa Barbara, located at 2050 West 56th Street, Suite 33. This restaurant specializes in Puerto Rican cuisines, so it offers something a little different from most of Hialeah's most popular restaurants. It's mostly known for its excellent mofongo, a fried plantain dish often served with pork, fish, lobster, or other meats. You can even order mofongo with fried pork rinds. El Rinconcito de Santa Barbara is open seven days a week, but it closes on major holidays.
As long as you try one of these restaurants while visiting Hialeah, you'll know you have had some of city's best food.
