Palo Verde Historical Museum and Society will provide you with a complete introduction to the area's history and values. The museum is housed in a former bank building (1957).
The facility has various displays, including pictures, archives, and items of the material history of the city around the 1800s.

Another attraction that just cannot be skipped is Blythe Intaglios, sixteen minutes north of the city. The Blythe Intaglios are represented by several massive earthworks, geoglyphs, located in the Colorado Desert. They consist of designs of human and animal figures. The intaglios were created by humans for yet unknown reasons. It was suggested that Native American Tribes of the region made the glyphs; however, none of them have claimed the creations. The Intaglios are believed to be ceremonial in nature by researchers.
The largest intaglio is over 170 feet long. All of the geoglyphs are thought to date back to the prehistoric period. The Blythe Intaglios are some of the biggest and numerous geoglyphs in the world - there are around 200 glyphs scattered along the Colorado River - and are a significant tourist attraction of the area.

Quechan Marina Park should also be mentioned as it's a neat waterfront stop on the way from Arizona to California just off of I-10. The place provides nice amenities like picnic shelters and tables, campsites, year-round bathrooms, and opportunities to access the river for paddle boating, canoeing, and fishing. It is a convenient, pleasant place to pull over, stretch, enjoy an active pastime, and continue your journey rested and rejuvenated. If an idea to stay around longer crossed your mind, there's an RV Resort just a couple of minutes southwest of the Park.

Blythe is also home to Colorado River Fairgrounds. Colorado River Fair is held in March and invites locals and passers-by to join for four days of excitement and fun. Grounds are going to be open from 6 am to 10 pm every day and entertain you with evening carnivals, farm Olympics, various contests, rides, and even a hypnosis show.
