The Carolina center point is around 2 miles southeast of San Juan Luis Munoz Marin Intl. Airport and 3 miles south of Pinones.
Carolina is an interesting city of Puerto Rico with a rich history. The city has undergone many changes that have shaped its culture and growth. The city has been known by many names including "La Tierra de Gigantes", which means Land of Giants, and "El Pueblo de los Tumba Brazos", which means Arm Hackers Town, to what the city is now known as, Carolina. Carolina is one of Puerto Rico's most important tourist centers. Bordering the Atlantic Ocean, the city has a large beach area, one of the most popular destinations for tourists to go to. Carolina's beach area features a large group of hotels, giving guests access to beach and water sport activities as well as easy access to the city's attractions. Soak up some sun at the Carolina Beach and Pinones Beach or enjoy the city's history through its famous monuments and historical sites including Buena Vista Ruins, Jesus T. Pinero Monument among many others. The months of April, May, July, and August are also great times for tourists to visit so that they can experience Carolina's many festivities including the Ladies Crafts Fair, San Fernando Patron Celebration, Crafts Fair, and the Roberto Clemento Week.

Not too far from the airport or city center. Easy to catch an Uber to downtown.
There were a lot of restaurants in the area and the beach was nearby.
The location was perfect, near all types of restaurants and bars. You really don't need a car to travel. Everything was within walking distance

Easy access to water activities, the airport is 3 minutes away, Old San Juan is a must too visit. The food and resturants are awesome!!!
