Ocean Gate Inn is my go to place to stay in Santa Cruz. I've been going there for about 5yrs now. Rooms have been updated. Easy walk to the Boardwalk and peir. Enjoyed my stay again. Will be going back in the future.

The rooms are clean and the property is clean. If you mind the traffic noise it's good for people watching. Over all I'm happy staying here. It's was my 5th time here.
