The Edgewater is located on Pier 67 in Seattle, directly over Elliott Bay. This unique location gives guests the access to waterfront shops & restaurants, Pike Place Market, the trendy Belltown neighborhood, the downtown financial district, Seattle Center – including the Space Needle, the Victoria Clipper, Washington State Ferries and the adjacent Olympic Sculpture Park - all within 5 minutes of the hotel. The Waterfront Shuttle Bus operates from Space Needle to Pioneer Square, offering free transportation along the waterfront.

This is one of my favorite properties in Seattle the city's only waterfront hotel! (The neon red "E" that sits above the hotel is often considered an integral part of Seattle's waterfront panorama). This hotel is a perfect mixture of classic design with a bit of edge. The overarching style of the hotel is rich leathers and heavy wood, but radical design elements are occasionally interspersed throughout (for instance, the bar/restaurant features "trees" that are part wood and part metal). The hotel sits right on the water and sports floor to ceiling windows of the ocean view whenever possible, such as a full wall in both the lobby and the restaurant. It is a truly gorgeous view and a great place to take visitors for a drink. The rooms are average size, but feature really tall, lofted ceilings and fireplaces, which gives them a cozy feel similar to a cabin or a boathouse. They also have fantastic event space that displays the same view, making this a popular destination for events that are trying to "show off" the city. I can truly say that this hotel would be an excellent match for any type of group, visitor, or event and I highly recommend it.

At 3,563 square feet, The Olympic Ballroom is our largest meeting facility. The floor-to-ceiling window wall provides an unobstructed panoramic vista of Elliott Bay, the Olympic Mountains and the islands of Puget Sound. The spaciousness of this room allows for a wide variety of eating configurations – up to 220-banquet style. Fir beams join at the center of the ballroom’s 16 foot ceiling creating a dramatic space for a couple’s first dance or the opening address of an annual meeting. Nine crystal chandeliers and four large mirrors frame this central area, reflecting views of Elliott Bay.
