The Tropic center point is approximately 2 miles east of Bryce Canyon National Park and 4 miles east of Downtown Bryce Canyon.
The best time to visit the Tropic is during the spring and fall when the temperatures are mild, and the landscapes are at their most beautiful.
The second best time is in winter, from December to February, if you love the cold. Bryce Canyon offers a number of winter activities like snowshoeing and cross country skiing. There's also Brian Head Ski Resort nearby to extend your winter fun. You'll have a chance to stay in family cabins to take in as much of the snow covered scenery as you can.
The area is a perfect mountain biking spot during the summer when it's dry and not slippery.
