Below are reviews of the city of Tawas City, MI from an actual visitor's perspective.
Quaint town, nice people.
Tawas City has great food and we just loved the Ausable Inn for breakfast. Good shopping in East Tawas. Plan to come back.
Such a beautiful place to visit!
Loved everyone and everything!
Tawas City is located on the shores of Lake Huron with beautiful sand beaches. Shopping antiques or retail is plentiful and restaurants for every taste. The drive down 23 is a pleasure as well.
Tawas Point was great, small, easy to enjoy all amenities. My dog loved the dog friendly beach. And the bass fishing was great. Love the taco stand too!
Great beaches, public facilities, and small town feel. Great restaurant choices and wonderful little stores to shop at. Downtown area is very well kept with plenty of room for walking.
Tawas is a nice, relatively quiet small town with lots of lake views, a pleasant downtown area, a few good restaurants and varied activities available in the nearby areas.
