We checked in on a Tuesday evening, October 8th and the front desk clerk was amazing. She was able to get my rewards account figured out, gave us a hospital discount due to our procedure the next day at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, AND, arranged a very helpful late checkout. This helped us greatly because we had a very early procedure and allowed us us to come back to the hotel after said procedure to gather ourselves, pack and take a breath before our two hour drive home. We are long time 'stayers' at this hotel, but I am sure they treat everyone with grace, kindness and accommodations within their control with the day's situations. I will never stay anywhere else if they have vacancies.

We had previous reservations in Indianapolis and so this became a last minute reservation. Everyone was very helpful. Our only disappointment was that they had the same food we had when we started our trip on 8/27/24. Yes it was at the same hotel.
