The Sterling center is around 1 mile north of Sterling Regional Medical Center and 2 miles east of Sterling Crosson Field Airport.
Sterling offers such wonderful history, wildlife, and scenic views making this farm-ranch community a must see. As a first time visitor, be sure to check out the Overland Trail Museum which was was named after the trail that brought the first pioneers to this city. Taking a step back in time, be sure to also visit an old one-room schoolhouse which has been greatly preserved. For those seeking outdoor adventure, Sterling is also a great place for star gazing and the North Sterling State Park is the perfect place for boating, camping, water-skiing and more.

The town square and courthouse are like stepping back in time. The local restaurants and brewery are also fun to visit.
We were directed to The Grill at River City by the staff. Wonderful! Nice, friendly city.
The Holiday Inn Express is by a nice pond and walking path.

Sterling is a small town with nice people. I have stayed at the hotel several times when I come into town for turkey hunting.

LOVED the indoor courtyard. The staff was kind, polite and helpful. I can't say how much we both (my daughter and I) liked it. It's oddness was attractive.
