Platteville is charming, peaceful and friendly. There are nice places to eat (like Jimmy Joe's Deli) and shop like Piggly Wiggly and the Drug Store around the back. The employees there are very helpful and friendly.

UW Platteville is a beautiful campus. The museum mining tour gives a fun history of the town. Lots of restraunts to choose from nearby. This town in the middle of nowhere is a gem.
