I had the pleasure of meeting with the representative of this Homewood Suites and I must say I was extremely impressed! While the rates can at times be a little higher than your standard hotel, you really have to think about the extra amenities and value this hotel provides you which is included in the rate. A HOT BREAKFAST BUFFET is included in your nightly rate which is not your standard free breakfast as there are so many offerings to choose from. Also included in the rate is a dinner reception which I would compare to a DINNER BUFFET you would pay for at a hotel banquet. They always switch up the menu each night and serve a main dish such as lasagna, stir fried chicken and vegetables, Sliders, etc., and offer a starch such as rice or a potato dish as well as a salad bar, bread and a selection of beverages which also includes beer or wine. The dinner reception is held every Monday through Thursday night. These meals alone are such a huge money saver! If you are looking to stay over the weekend you still have some great options to choose from as every room at this property are two room suites which offer a fully equipped kitchen and if you are traveling with a large family these rooms can sleep up to six people which makes this Homewood Suites a perfect choice. In your room you will find a grocery list in which you can write down every item you could possibly need. The hotel will then take this list and place your order with their local grocer and have it delivered to your room free of charge! The cost of the groceries are not marked up either which I would expect or at least a delivery fee but no, that is not the case....this really is such a wonderful service! If I were to stay there I would order everything I needed to have a nice family cookout since they have two gas grills by the pool and these are also free to use! Next, if you are looking to book a group of 10 rooms or more and the idea of a complimentary pizza party for your group peaks your interest, please let us know as this is an exclusive deal that can only be obtained through your hotel planner at this property. It is available during select weekend dates so please check with your assigned planner for availability. This hotel also features a nice meeting room which is usually offered complimentary as long as you meet their minimum room requirement. Lastly, LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION…The hotel is situated about a half mile from Universal Studios and you can walk to Wet 'n Wild water park which is adjacent to the hotel on International Drive. You won't be disappointed if you decide to use this property and I HIGHLY recommend it!
