Come here for college rodeo each year. Haven't really toured the town but everything I need is close by.
Enjoyed the town overall. Marshall is a good place to stay and branch out to multiple surrounding sites like spokes on a wheel.
Everything is within reasonable driving distance time wise.
Was there for funeral. The people were very friendly and polite. The restaurants we visited: Applebee's, McDonald's and Taco Bell, were very clean and the food was great.
Easy to choose an eatery. Only a few to choose from. There is a nice bar north of town (Mustang Sallyz), and a large park East of town center.
