Below are reviews of the city of Jefferson, NC from an actual visitor's perspective.
The area was beautiful!
Went to west Jefferson to cheese factory.
We were near shopping. Location and view were lovely. Rocking chairs on porch.
Loved the city!
Loved it. The patriotism and respect for tourists were overwhelming.
Jefferson and West Jefferson are pleasant towns to visit. We were there to attend the Fiddler's Old Time and Bluegrass Convention in Ashe Park and it was definitely a pleasant experience. The western NC mountains and surrounding area is much like our experience of Appalachian mountains and folks. Overall, just good people. We lived for nearly 30 years in Morgantown, WV before moving to NC in our retirement. WV is similar to Jefferson, W Jefferson, Boone, etc.
