Grand Lake experiences four distinct seasons throughout the year, and each one offers something unique. During the winter months, you can expect highs in the low 30s, while spring usually brings highs in the mid-50s. Summer tends to be warm but not hot, with highs in the upper 70s, and fall highs typically top out around 60 degrees.
While fall tends to be dry and sunny in Grand Lake, you'll want to bring an umbrella to stay dry during the rainy summer months. If you're planning to visit between November and April, you'll want to pack plenty of snow gear. The area receives over 12 feet of snow during an average winter, thanks to the surrounding Rocky Mountains.
Don't forget to check the area's event calendar before you plan your trip, as Grand County welcomes dozens of events every year. In the summer, mark your calendar for the Festival of Arts and Crafts at the beginning of each summer month, and be sure to attend the Spirit of Lake Regatta in August. In June, you won't want to miss Buffalo Days, one of the town's most popular community events.

I love GL. Used to live here. Grand Lake has shops for everyone, any age. A beautiful park, ice skating in winter, snow mobiling, snow shoeing, snow boarding, etc. Summer is a blast. So many things to do. Come to GL you will love it.
I like the fact that it is hosting a day of Ride the Rockies. It's going to be amazing.
