The Galloway center is approximately the area of Absecon and 2 miles east of Lenox Outlet.
Deciding on the best time to visit Galloway depends entirely on what you're interested in doing while you're there. Summer is the most popular time to visit the area. Average high temperatures from June to August range from the upper 70s to the low 80s Fahrenheit. This means you'll have pleasant weather to enjoy all the outdoor activities the area has to offer. However, that also means you'll have to deal with summer crowds and high hotel prices.
When fall rolls around to Galloway, the temperatures start to drop and so do the hotel prices. September sees average highs in the mid-70s, but by November these highs are in the mid-50s. If you're coming to see the leaf colors, October is your best month. Just remember that some indoor attractions will close for the winter at this time of year.
While Galloway's proximity to the coast helps the area avoid the heavy snow that some parts of the state sees between December and February, you can still expect around three to six inches of snowfall a month. Additionally, average highs are typically in the 40s. Since this weather isn't ideal for attracting visitors, this is the season you'll find the best deals on hotel rooms. If you're interested in using Galloway as a home base for enjoying Atlantic City, this could be the incentive you need to visit during these months.
If you prefer to visit the area when the weather is a little more pleasant, but you still want to avoid the crowds, consider coming between March and May. Average highs are in the 50s and 60s, and the large crowds don't arrive until the end of May. As a result, you'll likely find some good hotel deals if you travel here in the spring.
