Close to Laporte where my daughter's stay. Lots of places to eat; businesses open late. Close to highway.

It's close proximity to the Galveston Cruise Terminal and Island, Kemah Boardwalk and there are a number of nice eating establishments around.
Nice city especially the restaurant Jimmy Changas, need one in Fort Worth!
