When it comes to the best weather, most travelers visit Danville from the end of April until the beginning of October. The hottest month is July (average temperature of 73 degrees Fahrenheit), followed by June and August (average temperature of 70 degrees). This period will also be the most expensive and the most crowded. In contrast, since tourists are unlikely to visit in November and December, you can find some great deals when traveling at this time. However, you will need to dress appropriately, as these months bring a significant drop in temperature.
From November to March, be aware that temperatures will drop significantly. Expect average temperatures ranging from 42 to 28 degrees. However, on the plus side, these months are often the "dry weather" months. In fact, the lowest chance of rain or snow occurs in mid-January. If you want to take in the summer's heat, come to Danville in July or August, and if you'd like to take advantage of great deals (and avoid crowds), November or December will be your best bet.
