Welcome to the recently renovated Best Western Merry Manor Inn in South Portland, Maine. It's located on Maine's famous Route One, with direct and easy access to both Interstate 95 and 295 via the Maine Turnpike Approach. We offer all of the convenience of being near the highway without all the noise! Our hotel features 153 modern remodeled rooms with either King or Queen beds and are equipped with a flat screen TV, HBO, clock radios, coffee makers, hairdryers, safes, irons, ironing boards, microwaves, refrigerators, and high speed internet access. We have two luxury themed suites, The Maine Lake Lodge and Captain Lafayette Suite. Be transported to the calmness of the great Maine woods when you stay in The Maine Lake Lodge, it has a King bed, flannel curtains, fireplace, walk in shower with dual shower heads, jacuzzi hot tub, and a flat screen TV. The Captain Lafayette Suite has a classical nautical theme with an over-sized room with cathedral ceilings, fireplace, King bed, massage chair, walk in shower with dual shower heads, jacuzzi hot tub, and a flat screen TV. We have four additional suites are equipped with fireplaces. One of these has a massage recliner and a waterfall. Another features a large in-room jacuzzi. We pride ourselves on our many outstanding hotel amenities. One of our most prominent and most popular features is our outdoor heated year round pool. Inside we have a children's wading pool and a 17-ft Jacuzzi with a therapeutic waterfall. Our fitness center has 3 different types of cardio equipment, free weights, folding exercise mats, and a strength multi functional gym. We have a business center with a printer, and at the front desk we can make copies or send faxes for you. The hotel also has 6,000 square feet of meeting and conference space in 8 separate event spaces. Our Wildwood Ballroom holds up to 250 people for a banquets.
Green Sustainability
We love being in Maine and trying to keep the state as green as possible. We use LED light bulbs in all of our rooms and public spaces to use less energy. We ask guests to hang their towels if they plan on using them again so we can save water. Our rooms are equipped with a sensor thermostat that shuts the AC or heater off if it detects no on in the room to save electricity.
