Bradley Center is centrally located on 6 acres in beautiful downtown Milwaukee. Its convenient location gives visitors of the Center the luxury of a plethora of restaurants, shops and hotels all within walking distance. Marquette University is just a short cab ride away as well as several museums and parks. The arena is a short drive from I-94, I-43 and Route 41. It's also located along a Milwaukee County Transit System bus route and boasts a nearby parking garage, ample street parking and dedicated motorcycle parking courtesy of Harley Davidson.
Did you know that the BMO Harris Bradley Center is one of the oldest active NBA arenas? But age isn't slowing it down at all as it still hosts about 160 events a year and can pack in anywhere from 17,000 to 20,000 fans. The event has also hosted several notable events such as the Frozen Four three times and six years worth of NCAA March Madness games.
In 1988, the Milwaukee Bucks moved in to the Center and the arena found legitimacy in the professional sports market. Always considered an expansion team, the Bucks have one NBA Championship claim as well as two conference titles and 13 division titles. They are currently coached by legendary former player, Jason Kidd. The AHL Milwaukee Admirals also call the Center home. The Admirals have also been a successful franchise with one Calder Cup and 8 division championships. Bradley Center also is home to one time NCAA Tournament champion Marquette Golden Eagles.
There is a lot to see when visiting the Milwaukee area but a stop at the Bradley Center should be near the top of your list. You're not just visiting a storied professional sports facility, your visiting 550,000 square feet of living sports history.
