Good restaurants!
Nice!
Family does a reunion picnic every year at the state park. This was our 50th consecutive family reunion. Recently had to give up our camper and decided to again stay at Best Western. Good food at Quints Farm & Fleet; always a treat. Log cabin is always fun.
Devils Lake State Park is 10 minutes away. The Italian restaurant attached to the hotel is excellent.
It is a lovely area, especially in the fall.
Friendly staff, gorgeous fall landscape!
Devil's Lake State Park
Loved it! Our wedding here was awesome.
Both the Circus Museum and Al Ringling Theatre is a must see!
The Devil's Lake State Park is a beautiful and excellent place to go for a day's outing. The Red Oak Shelter our group rented is very spacious and enclosed (so free from bugs & flies) and $100 rent for the whole day's stay was reasonable. One could go kayaking, doing nature walks, fishing around the lake, etc. Shows around the area like the Circus World, Tony Bartlett show, etc. were excellent and the Tanger Outlet was a good place to go shoping. Ho-Chunk Casino is a short drive or also accessible with shuttle service. We also rented the Main Shelter at Ochsner Park & Zoo on the 2nd day which is very near St. Joseph Catholic Church where we attended Mass earlier. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay at Baraboo, WI from Saturday to Monday.
