Below are reviews of the city of Medicine Hat, AB from an actual visitor's perspective.
Breakfast! Pet friendly status! Pool/Waterslide!
People are friendly and warm. We accidentally left our headlights on overnight and drained our battery. We didn't find it hard to look for help as people who saw us having trouble starting our vehicle came to rescue and offered us help right away. It was our first time visiting Medicine Hat and this instance definitely made our stay memorable and worth it.
The hotel was allright. Near lots of fast food restaurants.
Great recreational areas which are very well maintained. Stampede is always a good time!
We chose the Quality Inn due to the location close to the hospital.
Great river valley hikes. Biggest teepee.
Medicine Hat has some nice walking paths in the summer.
Loved the Medalta Pottery Museum.
Love the city.
We have been to Medicine Hat before and love going to the Madhatter Roastery Cafe - excellent coffee roasted right in the store! This time we took in Skinny's Smokehouse for supper and we're glad we did. Very tasty & reasonably priced! The half rack of ribs which literally melt in your mouth with a choice of another meat (beef brisket) along with a choice of three sides - do try the baked beans as one of your choices, could almost be shared between two people ($27)! Just thinking about it makes me hungry!!
Everything is within walking distance of hotel.
Many things to do in the city, great restaurants and stores!
Beautiful city.
I loved how all the amenities and shopping I needed was a 30 second drive from the hotel.
