The Beaverton center point is about 2 miles southwest of Providence St Vincent Medical Center and 2 miles southwest of Oregon College of Art and Craft.
The optimal time to visit Beaverton is between June and September. During the summer, Beaverton has clear skies, temperatures in the 80s, and fewer than five inches of rainfall, despite its location in the Pacific Northwest. Because of its latitude, it also boasts up to 16 hours of sunlight, making it the perfect time to explore the trails of the Tualatin River Valley, located just west of the city. It's also prime time to check out the Beaverton Farmer's Market, which offers live music every Saturday from May through September. Rates go up during summer, making early bookings essential.
The second-best time to check out Beaverton is during winter. Winters here have a false notoriety for being wet, but precipitation is actually less than that of Miami or Baltimore. Snowfall is a rare occurrence, but if you're into winter sports, don't fret. While Beaverton doesn't have the elevation or snowfall to provide prime skiing, there are a half-dozen ski resorts all within an hour and a half. If you stay in Beaverton, you won't have to pay resort prices, and demand is typically at a lull.
During the spring, the clouds open up and pour rain onto Beaverton, and the ebb and flow of temperatures necessitate that you dress in layers. Still, that doesn't mean there isn't anything to do. You just may have to do it inside. However, this can work to your advantage. Dodging a shower or two throughout the day is part of the fun, but demand for hotels is low, allowing you to pick the hotel you want at lesser rates.
If leaf peeping and the brisk, autumn air is something you value, head to Beaverton between late September and November. Temperatures fall, but because of the climate, it rarely gets below freezing. This allows you to stroll through downtown and other walkable destinations throughout the city. Demand falls sharply, so keep your eyes open for some deals on hotels.

It's also a convenient option for families in town for football, lacrosse, baseball, soccer, or softball tournaments at Hillsboro Stadium. For a value option, the Residence Inn offers top-notch amenities such as an in-room kitchen, free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen television with cable programming, a desk, microwave, and phones with free local calling. While the rooms are nice, the guest features are even better. This includes an on-site grocery store, convenience store, an outdoor pool, a spa tub, fitness center, and even a hair salon. Barbecue grills and a picnic are available and a great feature when the weather wants to cooperate.
No matter where you decide to stay in Beaverton, you'll be right by many of the top attractions and destinations in the area. If you're an avid outdoorsman, the options are seemingly endless. Go for a hike in one of Beaverton's many lush, green nature areas such as Tryon Creek State Natural Area, Wildwood Trail, or Tualatin Hills Nature Park. At these places, you can hike, bike, or go horseback riding to your heart's content.
If you're in town on select dates from spring through fall, don't forget to drop by the Beaverton Night Market. Attracting as many as 14,000 visitors each night, this market is hands-down the most popular attraction in Beaverton. Although it's often crowded, the outstanding food and drink, live music, and artists more than make up for the crowd. If you're lucky, you may also get to see demonstrations from various ethnic groups that live around the greater Portland and Beaverton area. No matter what your interests, the Beaverton Night Market is sure to deliver.
