I did a lot of research on hotels in South Lake Tahoe for a girls trip, I decided to book the Forest Suites Resort, so glad I did! The location is perfect, off the main road, so nice and quiet but within walking distance of everything. You are right behind the Heavenly Village Shopping, restaurants and the gondola plus all the casinos are an easy 10-15 minute walk down the road. The breakfast every morning was delicious and options changed daily. I had booked a standard room with two double beds but we were upgraded (free of charge) to a two bedroom suite which was an awesome bonus! We enjoyed our three day stay and would definitely book here again on our next trip to Tahoe.

Our resort is ideally situated on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe on 5.5 acres of forested grounds, within short walking distance to numerous restaurants and attractions, and just steps from the excitement of the Stateline casinos gaming and nightlife. The Heavenly Ski Resort Gondola whisks sightseers, hikers, and skiers to the top of the mountain in just minutes for spectacular views of the lake and the surrounding Sierra Nevada Mountains. Championship golf is only a short distance away at world famous Edgewood Golf Course on the Lake, with several other courses to choose from in the Lake Tahoe Basin.
