Was attending the comedy ball. Dinner was not as expected. Chilli and coconut soup was not well seasoned and had woody bits in it. The turkey dinner was appalling, the turkey was hard and dry, sprouts over cooked parsnip undercooked. Left most of it as did most of the table we were at. Did enjoy the pudding. Breakfast the next morning was also awful the bacon and sausage were grey looking everything was just tepid. I have stayed here before and it was brilliant. This time a disaster.

This 4 star hotel is 3 miles outside the city centre, and has 119 guest rooms with satellite TV and internet access throughout. Enjoy sophisticated dining in Blairs Restaurant, a light supper in Soapie's Brasserie or a Wee Dram in our Whisky Bar. The spa has luxurious treatment rooms as well as an indoor heated pool and fitness room.
When it comes to dining, Blairs Restaurant boasts a kitchen that does justice to its grand surroundings. Our talented brigade of chefs select the finest locally sourced Scottish produce to conjure up one award winning dish after another.
Soapies Brasserie and the Lairds Bar offer a wide range of freshly prepared classics in lodern surroundings. Offering a wide range or wine, beers, premium spirits and cocktails, Soapies is also the perfect place to watch live sports.
The Drawing Room & Whisky Bar offers the chance to relax the day away and enjoy the classic Ardoe afternoon tea in the regal surroundings of our drawing room. Later on, why not enjoy a dram from our extensive selection of whiskies in our residents bar whilst seeing how many faces that you can recognise from our Famous Scots wall.
