Ed was staying at what was then called Camp Huachuca as part of a scouting expedition against the Chiricahua Apaches. It's an okay hotel but nothing spectacular. The breakfast “looked” good, but the coffee was cold, the eggs were super dry, etc. There was no view whatsoever from our room. The hotel employees were nice.
