My stay was a gift from my parents so I could attend my best friend's wedding and we were worried about credit card issues and having to play phone tag so that I could check in and out smoothly, but nope! No hassle. Just needed my ID and I was good to go! The accommodations were good as well. A nice comfy room space with a big well cushioned bed, TV with a decent array of channels to pass time and a nice bathroom space too. A seamless procedure to enjoy your night's stay!

Nestled in the heart of the California gold country, and central to booming El Dorado County, The Historic Cary House is "The Jewel of Placerville." Our lobby will envelope you in comfort featuring antique and vintage furnishings. With the ivy covered Courtyard and the Milton Room for banquets/meetings, we can easily accommodate a group of 50 to 60 people. Groups will enjoy whitewater rafting, wine tasting at over 30 wineries, shopping at boutique shops on Main Street, golfing at Apple Mountain Golf Course, browsing the largest Thomas Kinkade Gallery next door, hiking, fishing, or boating at Sly Park, Gold panning, and gambling at Redhawk Casino.Our staff works with each group to understand your unique requirements and helps you create a successful gathering whether it's a wedding, corporate meeting, or birthday celebration.
