Property Description
Toftrees, meaning “home among the trees,” was literally carved out of a forest of oak and white pines and is conveniently nestled amid 1500 scenic wooded acres in Central Pennsylvania's Allegheny Mountains. Originally established in 1969, the resort has consistently been rated “Four Stars” by Golf Digest “Places to Play” and one of the top golf conference center resorts by Meeting and Conventions Magazine. After completing an extensive renovation in 2010, Toftrees Golf Resort and Conference Center has once again emerged as one of the premier Pennsylvania destinations.The resort has 102 guest rooms and suites; over 12,000 sq. ft. of meeting and event space and offers complimentary high speed wireless internet property wide as well as complimentary parking. Dining options include the Down Under Steakhouse and the Eagle's Nest (great for pool side dining or a bite between the “front and back 9”) in addition to our banquet and outside group options. With onsite activities to include our temperature controlled outdoor pool, tennis courts, fitness trail, sand volleyball court and our 18-hole Championship Golf Course as well as offerings of team building, group activities and themed events, we feel that the Toftrees Golf Resort and Conference Center can be an ideal location for your program!The local State College area also provides an abundance of activities and offerings such as historic tours, museums, fishing, rock climbing, trap and skeet shooting, antique and boutique shopping, wineries, skiing, state parks and much more!We truly appreciate your consideration and look forward to speaking with you in more detail.
