I am from Marshall, love the historical buildings.
A large east Texas college town.

Good location and close to restaurants. Nice and quiet.
Restaurants! Spent most of our time in Jefferson for the Corvette Weekend.
We love to eat sushi and it had a great sushi place called In Japan right down the road. We were there for a wedding and it was a very nice venue. Beautiful area. We heard about Christmas lights and how people from all over come visit Marshall or the town close to Marshall to see those Christmas lights. We hope to come back for that during the holiday seasons.
The restaurant, movie theater, grocery shopping, everything was very close; I didn't have to go around the world looking for things.
