Although it focuses on bluegrass music, the annual Telluride Bluegrass Festival showcases many different genres including rock, traditional blues and country. The four-day festival, established in 1974 in Telluride, CO, traditionally coincides with the summer solstice. The festival is known for its musical risk-taking nature.
