Seven miles northwest of central D.C., Sibley Memorial Hospital is a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine. General visiting hours are from 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., with certain units having specific hours. Parking is available at a garage, accessible from Loughboro Road and from Dalecarlia Parkway. You can't go wrong coming here to improve your health in any way, as the physicians here are dedicated to providing quality health services as they have for 120 years. Nearby there are many attractions to visit as well. The many museums of the Smithsonian, most open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. every day but Christmas, with free admission, are spread out around Washington D.C. Or you can explore the historic neighborhoods in the area, such as Foggy Bottom, Georgetown, Adams Morgan, and more. Just travel around many of these communities to see 18th and 19th century houses still standing. The White House, U.S. Capitol, Supreme Court, and many more government buildings are here too, some of which you can tour. The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts offers tours and food whenever you like, with great shows on many evenings. And there are hundreds of monuments and memorials in the city dedicated to presidents, famous persons, veterans, and more that you can view for the most part at any time. To access these attractions, you can use the WMATA Metro, Tenleytown Station being nearest to the hospital, and bus lines, or parking garages and some limited street parking throughout the city.
