The staff was amazing. Coffee in the morning and as much of it as I needed lol! The very clean bed was extremely comfortable. Loved the area coming and going. It was so perfect! I would stay again!

Property description

The District Hotel, Est. 1920, is located in the heart of Washington, DC. Only a few blocks from the White House, Convention Center, great restaurants, shops and conveniently located between 5 Metro stops. The District Hotel is the perfect hotel for any group seeking to enjoy Washington, DC without spending a fortune. Our historic building has undergone extensive improvements over the past two years, and has a unique charm all its own. Many of our rooms are slightly different sizes and shapes, and the entire building has a lot of character that can only be found in such old, historic buildings. While we have minimal amenities on-site, almost everything one could possibly need is easily available within a 5-minute walk, including a Whole Foods grocery, a CVS pharmacy, a hardware store, multiple restaurants, bars, dry cleaners and laundry handlers, banks, a convenience store, at least 2 coffee shops, architecturally beautiful houses and buildings, churches, and more... all within a thriving, safe, historic neighborhood in one of downtown Washington's oldest neighborhoods just 20 minutes by foot to the White House itself!
