Death Valley National Park is a U.S. Landmark located between California and Nevada and is a land of extreme weather conditions ranging from hot and dry summer heat to frost and snow in the winter. Many different types of wildlife survive in this terrain and many tourists come to explore the desert year-round. Death Valley National Park also houses multiple visitor centers, contact stations, museums, and exhibits that provide important and need-to-know information on climate, park resources, and recommended areas to explore. Death Valley is a sight to see and there are only a few and far in-between lodging areas that offer comfort and a good nights rest. Most notably, the Longstreet Inn & Casino provides a lakeside view, free Wi-Fi, and is pet friendly, and the Best Western Pahrump Station with free breakfast, plenty of parking, and two outdoor swimming pools and hot tubs. The best time to visit Death Valley National Park depends on the season as Winter offers cooler nights and less tourists, Fall offers warm temperatures and clear skies, Spring offers sunny days, wildflowers, and is the most popular tourist time, and the Summer months offer the hottest temperatures.
