Below are reviews of the city of Santa Rosa, NM from an actual visitor's perspective.
Easy access to public park area. Liked the number of locally owned businesses.
Joseph's Bar & Grill on Historic Route 66 has nice staff and good grub!
Santa Rosa's primary business appears to be the service of vehicular traffic passing through, or going to the two lakes in the area. There is only one grocery store, but numerous motels, restaurants, etc. We would recommend the restaurant, Joseph's, which has some of the best northern New Mexico food around.
Park Lake was a lot of fun and the kids had a blast!
Quaint!
I was there to train divers wanting their Deep Diver certification. This is a good location for it.
It was quiet and clean and front desk staff was patient and made check in easy!
The Blue Hole is a favorite place!
Santa Rosa has some great Mexican restaurants.
We just drove thru on the way to our daughter's house and stopped there for sleep. The Mexican restaurant was terrific just down from the hotel!
