Friendly staff, clean, comfortable beds. Lots of nature opportunities
Lots of nature opportunities!
Near the center it is well laid out with a wide variety of available stores, and a reasonable selection of banks, doctors, restaurants. The railroad goes east west about 100 yards from the US80 but opposed to for example Pelahatchie the interruption of traffic and noise does not seem severe. The town is surrounded by the national forest where it is easy to quickly escape into the woods. The air is fresh without some of the pollution present due to industry or heavy traffic. There is little traffic even during the most heavy hours of the day. Unfortunately there is little available housing for sale and few apartments, both of which quickly sell when they are made available. There are few grocery stores limiting the variety to choose from.
