It was conveniently located to other attractions and a stopping/rest point before/after visiting my dad in Swannanoa, NC and gem mining in Chimney Rock.

There were things to see and do all around us. Shopping was good and downtown had lots to offer.

A very beautiful town
Fletcher has a beautiful community park that has multiple walking trails. Fletcher also has some nice places to shop....Lulu's Consignment Shop and The Garage are two of my favorites. There is also a really nice fabric and quilting shop. There is a nice variety of restaurants for travelers.
Easy to navigate and close to the academy. Lots of locations to visit after work.
