The Lone Tree center point is around 1 mile west of Park Meadows Mall and 1 mile southwest of IKEA Denver Metro Area.
If you want to plan your trip to Lone Tree around the weather, late May to early October offers the ideal weather. Average temperatures fluctuate throughout the year, with summer months being the warmest. December, January, and February are the coldest months, with average highs in the mid-40s and lows in the upper teens. During the shoulder months of March through April and October through November, temperatures range from the upper 20s and mid-30s to the upper 50s and mid-60s.
Keep in mind that due to the summer break and sunny weather, Lone Tree will be most crowded during the months of May, June, and July. That means there will be fewer hotel rooms available, and rates will be higher. If you plan to visit during the peak season, be sure to book your hotel well in advance for the best deal. Flights to the area also tend to cost more during these months. If you want to strike a good balance between comfortable weather and affordable prices, consider visiting during the spring.
Of course, you may be visiting Colorado with the intention of skiing. If that's true, then planning a trip for mid- to late October or January is your best bet; the snow will be deepest during these months. However, there should also be some snow on the ground during February, March, April, November, and December. In terms of tourism, November is Lone Tree's slowest month, which means better deals on hotels.
For better or worse (depending on your point of view), Lone Tree doesn't get much precipitation throughout the year. In fall and winter, Lone Tree averages one to four days of significant precipitation per month. For spring and summer, that number rises to two to six days per month.

Alternatively, consider the Hampton Inn & Suites Denver/South Ridgegate. This hotel has earned high marks from past guests thanks to the delicious food, friendly service, clean facilities, and convenient location. A complimentary breakfast is served daily, with free newspapers, coffee, and tea available in common areas.
An indoor pool, fitness facilities, laundry service, business center, and conference space round out the hotel's amenities. For entertainment, the hotel offers free Wi-Fi, LCD TVs in each room, and cable programming.
For some retail therapy, head to Park Meadows Retail Resort, which includes over 200 restaurants and retailers for your pleasure. Grab lunch while you're there at Brio Tuscan Grill, Expert Grill, Seasons 52, or one of the other full-service restaurants. There are also several quick-service dining options, if you don't want to slow down.
Once you've shopped to your heart's content, make your way to the Lone Tree Entertainment District for more fun. There you'll find the United Artist Movie Theater, the Bowlero bowling alley, GoPutt Miniature Golf, and iFly Indoor Skydiving, as well as several restaurants where you can eat dinner. You can also catch a show at the Lone Tree Arts Center or learn about settlers' lives in the late 1800s at the Historic Schweiger Ranch.
Outdoor enthusiasts will want to stop at the local Cabela's to gear up for whatever adventures they have in mind. Pick up what you need for a camping trip, a Rocky Mountain hike, or a day of fishing. You may also enjoy Bluffs Regional Park, a 235-acre park that includes 3.5 miles of trails, many of which connect with other trail networks in Colorado. Runners, walkers, hikers, and cyclists are all welcome.
Lone Tree's affordable hotel options make it a great alternative to staying in Denver. And whether you enjoy shopping, hiking, golfing, or other tourist attractions, Lone Tree won't disappoint. In Lone Tree, you can have as much or as little interaction with the Mile High City as you want. Use Lone Tree as a jumping-off point for your Denver itinerary, or bask in the relative peace and quiet of a smaller city with breathtaking views of the Rockies.

Hotel is close to everything! The convenience is awesome! Will definitely be back.
Great location with the freeway right there (25 min to Denver Airport) and a very nice mall, theater and eating places within walking distance.
Lone Tree looked to be a very clean, yuppyish town with a large variety of businesses. This country boy is not real big on towns but it was a nice-looking, pretty town with friendly folks.
All the streets in the area had nice landscaping. The area was away from the busy interstate roads. It did not feel like I was in the city. There was shopping close by.
Very clean and modern. The infrastructure is excellent.
The area was great!
GREAT mall, five min. away, and convenient to good restaurants and freeway access.
Having the mall nearby is great and the hotel is nicely situated between Denver and Colorado Springs so the airport isn't too far and neither is the Springs. Plenty of places to eat very close by.
The shopping in front of the hotel! The restaurants!
