When we checked in, the person at counter was not at all friendly. Our room was clean, but needed a total remodel. The office chair was worn out and material was flaking off. The carpet was so worn that it was detached in places. They ran out of coffee for the “so called” breakfast, out of orange juice and the food was sub pare.

Our room was very comfortable and very clean. The staff were all very accommodating to our needs. We are headed back up that way this week and plan to stay at this hotel again. This is probably the best compliment one could offer a hotel.

My first mistake was booking online and what appeared to be Hamptons website was a Priceline link. They charged me 50.00 more than what I should have been charged. Staff was okay but nothing special. Kind of a dry greeting. Granted my expectations of customer experience is different than some. I am a customer experience professional who has taught customer service and I naught expect more than what Hampton teaches.

The Hampton Inn is located at 11920 Maumelle Blvd off the 430 hwy.We are a brand new hotel we opened March 2011. We feature three floors, interior corridor, 71 rooms with an elevator. wireless and wired high-speed internet access, an on-site business center, meeting facility, fitness center, guest laundry, outdoor swimming pool. Amenities include: Complimentary on the House Hot Breakfast, free high-speed internet access, free local calls and a 32" HD television including HBO. Also included are in-room coffee makers, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, and micro-fridges in all rooms.
