The hotel sits in the prime spot for food and entertainment. The Montana Mikes out front was giving a discount to the patrons of the Hampton. The road construction around the Hampton was also strain.

The exit is a bit scary. Lots of questionable characters, but I have stayed in Anderson for the last 10 years due to volleyball tournaments held in the area and it has not changed. It is just a rough area.
