We had a lovely two night stay at The Morgan Hotel. The room was beautiful, comfortable and the towel artistry was amazing! The continental breakfast options were varied and of good quality. The location is excellent. We stayed primarily to visit Hearst Castle which is a short drive away. We had dinner in two good restaurants within walking distance which was a bonus. It's worth taking the short walk down the little road by the side of the hotel which leads to the beach to enjoy the stunning sunsets.

The Morgan is the only boutique-style hotel in San Simeon. Heated Pool. Continental breakfast buffet is included in room rates. Cocktail lounge open to guests on Friday and Saturday evenings from May through September, with live entertainment by local singer/songwriters from June through August.Two buildings, each building fully renovated in 2008. Many rooms with fireplaces, some with partial ocean views. (Formerly the Orchid Inn at San Simeon)El Chorlito Mexican Restaurant, serving delicious Californa- and New Mexico-style cuisine, is nestled in between our two buildings. The restaurant has a spacious private banquet room, The Sandpiper's Nest, which can accommodate up to 60 diners.
