A hotel that charges for early check in, has a system duplicate my reservation, attempt to charge me for the mistake and then acts as though you have done me a service to cancel it (still charged my card as of 6/18/24 1pm CST even though this issue was cleared up multiple times) Had it not been a mistake, only one of the rooms was ready for check in at 1pm (a time which I was ensured would work for the hotel). The room we were originally checked into did not have the A/C system turned on and the A/C system was broke, leading to the room being 89 degrees. The room we were moved into we discovered in the morning had a broken toilet. This is a common story from the entire wedding group who stayed at this hotel. Outside of failures, the bed pillows were quite literally couch throw pillows with a pillow sheet put over it. The TV included in the rooms was fuzzy and the size of a laptop screen. The bed was stiff enough that I was unsure if it had been removed from the cardboard box it was shipped in.To call this hotel a luxury hotel would be a laughable statement if I did not spend almost 200 dollars for the experience. This experience has been so poor it is the only time I have ever been driven to leave a review.

Timber Creek Inn & Suites is located in Sandwich, IL within Kendall County. We offer premier accommodations, state-of-the-art meeting facilities, and banquet seating for up to 2,500 guests. Timber Creek is perfect for the business and leisure guest. We have 100 spacious guest rooms including suites and whirlpool rooms and over 25,000 square feet of flexible meeting space. Enjoy our indoor swimming pool and hot tub or our 24-hour fitness room. We also offer a free continental breakfast and free Wi-Fi. We have an on-site restaurant and lounge with outdoor seating. Our multi-functional convention center is ideal for weddings, parties, reunions, conferences, and corporate training. We are located an hours drive from Chicago, and are minutes from major attractions such as the Edgebrook Golf Course, the Farnsworth House, the Sandwich Fairgrounds, the Historic Opera House, the Sandwich Antique Market, and Silver Springs State Park.

Green Sustainability

Our hotel was built to be ecologically friendly, and has won Green Hotel Award five-years and running. Our patio and pool furniture were made from recycled milk jugs. The woodwork at the hotel, in the lobby, front desk , bar and breakfast room came from the trees removed to build the facility. We aspire to be a leader in our industry and community by providing several ongoing green initiatives including; a recycling and trash compacting program, use of energy efficient light bulbs and motion sensors for lighting amongst others. Our guest rooms have an energy efficient key card program and we offer guests a special laundry program option for multiple night stays.
